Afeworki Bein is the owner of Snelling Cafe here in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He came to this country in 1986 to flee from the war in that was going on in Eritrea. He came to this country in 1986 with his brother knowing only basic English. He started working as a cab driver but then started his own cleaning business. Afeworki had a passion for drinking coffee and came up with the idea of owning his own cafe. (Next image)

and many customers stopped by for his tasty coffee. Afeworki later on decided that it was best to expand from just selling coffee drinks to ethnic Eritrean cuisines. He first opened up his restaurant in 2003, 27th of September. It's a lot of work running a business he mentions but customers have kept him motivated.
